Making wax melts: the basics
- Melt your wax gently, following the guidance on the wax you are using.
- Add fragrance oil – check the oil’s IFRA certificate for the most you can use, and match it to our CLP information at 10% or 25%.
- Add colour or shimmer with candle dyes or mica powder. A little goes a long way, so test a small batch first.
- Pour into clamshells or moulds and leave to set fully.
- Label each pack with the hazard information, your business details and the net quantity. Our free CLP label creator makes a ready-to-print label for any of our fragrance oils.
