These dyes are oil based and are designed to be used in pariffin wax, vegetable wax, soy way, gel wax, oils and plastics such as aroma beads.
1ml of dye to 1kg of wax = 0.100%
0.5ml of dye to 1kg of wax = 0.05%

Our liquid dyes are the most soluble colorant available. They are suitable for a range of colouring applications such as for candles, plastics and oils such as reed diffusers.
Use them when you want a candle to be dyed throughout (not over-dipping) .

Paraffin and Vegetable Wax and Plastics:
Off-white Shades (Vanilla, Ivory) . …………….. 0.004%
Pale Shades (Peach, Pink) . ………………………. 0.02%
Medium Shades (Red, Blue, Yellow) . ………… 0.2%
Dark Shades . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 0.4%

(Less will give you varying shades of gray, more may result in burning problems)
Factors that may affect the amount of dye required for the desired shade include:
• The opacity of the wax
• Wax additives such as stearic acid, polymers and microcrystalline wax
• Fragrance
Gel Candles and Oils:
