Questions
What does Mehr fragrance oil smell like?
Citrus-spice with orange, lime, warm spices, amber, and musky woody undertones. Top notes: orange, lime. Heart: cinnamon, clove, ginger, florals. Base: amber, woods, musk. It’s inspired by a well-known designer fragrance – see which one in our designer dupe chart.
How much Mehr fragrance oil do I need for a candle?
Use 5–10% of the candle’s total weight. For a 200g candle that’s 10–20g of Mehr (about 10–21ml). The IFRA maximum for candles is 63.49%. The calculator above works it out for any size.
How much Mehr should I use in wax melts?
Use 5–10% – that’s 5–10g of fragrance oil for every 100g of finished melts. Check the maximum your wax can hold.
Can I use Mehr in a reed diffuser?
We don’t recommend it. The IFRA maximum for reed diffusers is only 15.89%, which is too low for a good scent throw.

- Soap: yes – 3–6% (IFRA maximum 34.28%)
- Body lotion: yes – 0.5–1.5% (IFRA maximum 7.79%)
