Melt & Pour Soap Dye Pack
These dyes are highly concentrated water based colours, and can be mixed together to achieve a wide range of colours.
We have selected and brought together these dyes in a pack especially for melt and pour soaps as all five are suitable for this use. However some colours may be suitable for other uses, we have given a description for each colour to help you decide what else the dyes may be suitable for.
You will receive one 10ml bottle of each of the following dyes:
Blue ci42090
This dye is not alkali-stable. This colour does not remain true in cold-process soaps, although it is excellent for clear melt-n-pour soaps and most clear liquid bases. Not recommended for bath bombs (fades).
Green ci19140 ci42090
Mid green liquid dye based on Tartrazine and FCF Bright Blue. Not alkali stable (changes to yellow).Not suitable in cold-process soaps or bath bombs. suitable for melt and pour soaps and most liquid bases.
Orange ci40215
A Bright orange. Not alkali Stable. Not suitable in cold-process soaps or bath bombs. Suitable for melt and pour soaps and most liquid bases. Red ci16035, This colour is not alkali stable.
Red ci16035
This colour is not alkali stable. Red (yellow) liquid colourant. This colour is not suitable for cold-process soaps, although it is excellent for clear or opaque melt-n-pour soaps and most clear liquid bases. Bright (yellowish) red, excellent for ‘strawberry/cherry’ type reds.
Yellow ci19140
Bright yellow dye that is alkali and acid stable. This bright ‘lemon’ yellow dye remains true in cold process soaps and can be used in all cosmetic applications.
