The scent

Peaflower Rain Fragrance Oil is a delicate, luminous fragrance that captures the serenity of rainfall over blooming gardens. A misty blend of lemon, orange, and grapefruit opens the scent with airy freshness, while butterfly pea flower tea and soft florals of cyclamen, orange blossom, and jasmine create a calming, meditative heart. Beneath, gentle notes of amber, moss, and sheer musk bring depth and stillness, evoking the scent of dew settling on forest leaves. Perfect for spring and summer collections, nature-inspired candles, or fresh, botanical home fragrance ranges that bring tranquillity and renewal.

Questions

Common questions

What does Peaflower Rain fragrance oil smell like?

Fresh-floral with citrus, butterfly pea flower, jasmine, amber, and moss undertones. Top notes: lemon, orange, grapefruit. Heart: butterfly pea, cyclamen, orange blossom. Base: amber, moss, musk.

How much Peaflower Rain fragrance oil do I need for a candle?

Use 5–10% of the candle’s total weight. For a 200g candle that’s 10–20g of Peaflower Rain (about 10–20ml). There is no IFRA limit for candles. The calculator above works it out for any size.

How much Peaflower Rain should I use in wax melts?

Use 5–10% – that’s 5–10g of fragrance oil for every 100g of finished melts. Check the maximum your wax can hold.

Can I use Peaflower Rain in a reed diffuser?

We don’t recommend it. The IFRA maximum for reed diffusers is only 10.71%, which is too low for a good scent throw.

Can I use Peaflower Rain in soap, lotion or perfume?

  • Soap: yes – 3–6% (IFRA maximum 10.71%)
  • Body lotion: yes – 0.5–1.5% (IFRA maximum 27.85%)
  • Face cream: yes – 0.1–0.5% (IFRA maximum 5.5%)
  • Perfume: yes – 5–20% (no IFRA limit)
  • Lip balm: not suitable

Soap, lotion and perfume are cosmetics, so each one needs a safety assessment (CPSR) before you sell it.

Is Peaflower Rain fragrance oil hazardous?

Undiluted, Peaflower Rain is classified under GB CLP with the signal word Warning:

  • H315 Causes skin irritation.
  • H317 May cause an allergic skin reaction.
  • H319 Causes serious eye irritation.
  • H411 Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects.

Candles, wax melts and diffusers you make with it may need their own CLP label. Full details are in the Safety Data Sheet.

Is Peaflower Rain fragrance oil flammable?

No. Its flash point is 87°C, so it isn’t classified as flammable. Like any fragrance oil, keep it away from naked flames.

Will Peaflower Rain discolour my wax?

It’s unlikely. Peaflower Rain contains no vanillin or ethyl vanillin, the most common cause of discolouration. Always test with your own wax and dyes.

Is there a CLP label for Peaflower Rain?

Yes. Our free CLP label creator makes a ready-to-print label for candles and wax melts made with Peaflower Rain. Safety Data Sheets, IFRA certificates and label files are in the documents above.

Are your fragrance oils vegan?

Yes. All are 100% vegan with no animal-derived ingredients.

Can I use Peaflower Rain in an electric diffuser or oil burner?

Yes.

  • Electric water diffusers (ultrasonic or humidifier style) – fill the tank with water to the line, then add 3–5 drops per 100ml of water. Start low and add more to taste.
  • Oil burners – mix 50/50 with dipropylene glycol (DPG), or add a few drops to water in the well.

Important – look after your diffuser:

  • Fragrance oils are concentrated, and some plastics used in diffuser tanks can soften, cloud or crack if oil is left sitting in them. This depends on the plastic the diffuser is made from. It happens with any concentrated fragrance or essential oil, not just ours.
  • Empty the tank when you’ve finished. Don’t leave water and oil sitting in it between uses.
  • Rinse and wipe the tank every few uses, as fragrance oils can leave a film.
  • Check your diffuser’s instructions to make sure it is suitable for fragrance oils. If it says essential oils only, or doesn’t say, ask the maker before using it.

How do I use the 100ml bottles?

They include a blind plug to prevent leaks in transit. Either pierce the centre with a pin or biro to use it as a dropper, or remove the stopper, pour, and replace the plug.
