Secret Kiss Fragrance Oil

Fruity-floral with peach, cassis, tropical fruits, white florals, vanilla, amber, musk, and soft balsams. Top notes: peach, cassis, pineapple, banana. Heart: orange flower, jasmine, rose, tuberose. Use 5–10% of the candle’s total weight. For a 200g candle that’s 10–20g of Secret Kiss (about 10–20ml). There is no IFRA limit for candles. The calculator above works it out for any size.

Possibly. The IFRA maximum is 17.33%. Some oils give a good scent throw at this level and some don’t, so test a small batch in a reed diffuser base such as Augeo Clean Multi before a full run. Ready-made reed diffuser CLP labels and an SDS are in the documents above.

No. Its flash point is 89°C, so it isn’t classified as flammable. Like any fragrance oil, keep it away from naked flames.

It may. Secret Kiss contains ethyl vanillin, which can turn wax, soap and other bases cream to brown over time. Test before bulk pouring – see our vanillin guide.

Yes. All are 100% vegan with no animal-derived ingredients.

Yes.

• Electric water diffusers (ultrasonic or humidifier style) – fill the tank with water to the line, then add 3–5 drops per 100ml of water. Start low and add more to taste.
• Oil burners – mix 50/50 with dipropylene glycol (DPG), or add a few drops to water in the well.

Important – look after your diffuser:

• Fragrance oils are concentrated, and some plastics used in diffuser tanks can soften, cloud or crack if oil is left sitting in them. This depends on the plastic the diffuser is made from. It happens with any concentrated fragrance or essential oil, not just ours.
• Empty the tank when you’ve finished. Don’t leave water and oil sitting in it between uses.
• Rinse and wipe the tank every few uses, as fragrance oils can leave a film.
• Check your diffuser’s instructions to make sure it is suitable for fragrance oils. If it says essential oils only, or doesn’t say, ask the maker before using it.

They include a blind plug to prevent leaks in transit. Either pierce the centre with a pin or biro to use it as a dropper, or remove the stopper, pour, and replace the plug.
