Common questions

Use 5–10% of the candle’s total weight. For a 200g candle that’s 10–20g of Antique Leather Saffron & Olibanum (about 10–19ml). There is no IFRA limit for candles. The calculator above works it out for any size.
Use 5–10% – that’s 5–10g of fragrance oil for every 100g of finished melts. Check the maximum your wax can hold.
We don’t recommend it. The IFRA maximum for reed diffusers is only 10%, which is too low for a good scent throw.

No. Its flash point is >100°C, so it isn’t classified as flammable. Like any fragrance oil, keep it away from naked flames.
It’s unlikely. Antique Leather Saffron & Olibanum contains no vanillin or ethyl vanillin, the most common cause of discolouration. Always test with your own wax and dyes.
