The scent

Caramel Apple opens with crisp red apple — juicy, fresh and sharp enough to cut through the sweetness that follows. Cinnamon sugar and creamy salted caramel fill the heart, turning it warm and indulgent with that toffee-apple character everyone recognises. Fluffy vanilla and caramelised sugar settle into the base, adding a soft, rich sweetness that rounds the whole thing off. It’s a cosy, sweet gourmand with strong autumn and Halloween appeal, and carries easily into Christmas ranges for customers who love warm, caramel-led scents.

Candles, wax melts and diffusers you make with it may need their own CLP label. Full details are in the Safety Data Sheet.

No. Its flash point is 100°C, so it isn’t classified as flammable. Like any fragrance oil, keep it away from naked flames.

Will Caramel Apple discolour my wax?

It may. Caramel Apple contains vanillin (3.4%), which can turn wax, soap and other bases cream to brown over time. Test before bulk pouring – see our vanillin guide.

Is there a CLP label for Caramel Apple?

Yes. Our free CLP label creator makes a ready-to-print label for candles and wax melts made with Caramel Apple, and for reed diffusers. Safety Data Sheets, IFRA certificates and label files are in the documents above.

Are your fragrance oils vegan?

Yes. All are 100% vegan with no animal-derived ingredients.

Can I use Caramel Apple in an electric diffuser or oil burner?

Yes.

  • Electric water diffusers (ultrasonic or humidifier style) – fill the tank with water to the line, then add 3–5 drops per 100ml of water. Start low and add more to taste.
  • Oil burners – mix 50/50 with dipropylene glycol (DPG), or add a few drops to water in the well.

Important – look after your diffuser:

  • Fragrance oils are concentrated, and some plastics used in diffuser tanks can soften, cloud or crack if oil is left sitting in them. This depends on the plastic the diffuser is made from. It happens with any concentrated fragrance or essential oil, not just ours.
  • Empty the tank when you’ve finished. Don’t leave water and oil sitting in it between uses.
  • Rinse and wipe the tank every few uses, as fragrance oils can leave a film.
  • Check your diffuser’s instructions to make sure it is suitable for fragrance oils. If it says essential oils only, or doesn’t say, ask the maker before using it.

How do I use the 100ml bottles?

They include a blind plug to prevent leaks in transit. Either pierce the centre with a pin or biro to use it as a dropper, or remove the stopper, pour, and replace the plug.
