Dark Potion Fragrance Oil
A fruity floral — green apple, grapefruit, lychee, blackcurrant, raspberry, jasmine, rose, red apple, vanilla, sugar, musk, amber.
The scent
Dark Potion opens with a sharp, juicy blast of green apple, grapefruit, lychee, blackcurrant and raspberry — bright, fruity and bold with a tartness that grabs attention straight away. Jasmine, rose and red apple carry through the heart, softening the fruit with a full floral layer that adds depth without losing the freshness. Vanilla, sugar, musk and amber round out the base into a sweet, warm finish that gives this broad appeal. A fun, fruity Halloween fragrance that works well alongside darker scents in a seasonal collection without being too heavy or difficult — it’s the kind of scent that pulls in customers who want to join in with Halloween but prefer something lighter.

Bath bombs, bath salts, shower gel and body scrubs use the soap limit (Cat 9). Not recommended means the IFRA limit is too low for a good scent, not that it is banned. Can I use Dark Potion in an electric diffuser or oil burner?
Yes.
- Electric water diffusers (ultrasonic or humidifier style) – fill the tank with water to the line, then add 3–5 drops per 100ml of water. Start low and add more to taste.
- Oil burners – mix 50/50 with dipropylene glycol (DPG), or add a few drops to water in the well.
Important – look after your diffuser:
- Fragrance oils are concentrated, and some plastics used in diffuser tanks can soften, cloud or crack if oil is left sitting in them. This depends on the plastic the diffuser is made from. It happens with any concentrated fragrance or essential oil, not just ours.
- Empty the tank when you’ve finished. Don’t leave water and oil sitting in it between uses.
- Rinse and wipe the tank every few uses, as fragrance oils can leave a film.
- Check your diffuser’s instructions to make sure it is suitable for fragrance oils. If it says essential oils only, or doesn’t say, ask the maker before using it.
How do I use the 100ml bottles?
They include a blind plug to prevent leaks in transit. Either pierce the centre with a pin or biro to use it as a dropper, or remove the stopper, pour, and replace the plug.
