   For ages I found most paraffin wax sets unevenly and shrinks drastically, which meant I had to blast the tops of candles with a heat gun. I’ve found that this wax rarely has this problem! Sets evenly and my candles have never looked better! Only downside to this wax is that it has a very low melting point so handling de-moulded wax items is a little tricky. The raw wax feels very sticky like over cooked rice (in case anyone has sensory issues with this texture like me!) so I would recommend using gloves
