Soft floral with fruity and sun-warmed undertones.
The scent
Sunlit Flowers Fragrance Oil captures the warmth of a bright summer’s day, opening with golden freesia, soft mimosa, and buttery floral notes gently lifted by hints of pear and apricot. The heart unfolds into delicate sun-warmed florals, creating a smooth and radiant bouquet. As it settles, soft dry florals linger beautifully, leaving a light and uplifting trail. Joyful, warm, and full of brightness, this luminous floral fragrance is perfectly suited to spring and summer collections, seasonal launches, and uplifting scent ranges inspired by sunshine and renewal.

Bath bombs, bath salts, shower gel and body scrubs use the soap limit (Cat 9). Not recommended means the IFRA limit is too low for a good scent, not that it is banned. Questions
Common questions
What does Sunlit Flowers fragrance oil smell like?
Soft floral with fruity and sun-warmed undertones. Top notes: freesia, mimosa, pear, apricot. Heart: florals. Base: dry florals. See it in our Scent Match Guide.
How much Sunlit Flowers fragrance oil do I need for a candle?
Use 5–10% of the candle’s total weight. For a 200g candle that’s 10–20g of Sunlit Flowers (about 10–21ml). There is no IFRA limit for candles. The calculator above works it out for any size.
How much Sunlit Flowers should I use in wax melts?
Use 5–10% – that’s 5–10g of fragrance oil for every 100g of finished melts. Check the maximum your wax can hold.
Can I use Sunlit Flowers in a reed diffuser?
We don’t recommend it. The IFRA maximum for reed diffusers is only 7%, which is too low for a good scent throw.

- Soap: yes – 3–6% (IFRA maximum 7%)
- Body lotion: yes – 0.5–1.5% (IFRA maximum 11%)

Are your fragrance oils vegan?
Yes. All are 100% vegan with no animal-derived ingredients.
Can I use Sunlit Flowers in an electric diffuser or oil burner?
Yes.
- Electric water diffusers (ultrasonic or humidifier style) – fill the tank with water to the line, then add 3–5 drops per 100ml of water. Start low and add more to taste.
- Oil burners – mix 50/50 with dipropylene glycol (DPG), or add a few drops to water in the well.
Important – look after your diffuser:
- Fragrance oils are concentrated, and some plastics used in diffuser tanks can soften, cloud or crack if oil is left sitting in them. This depends on the plastic the diffuser is made from. It happens with any concentrated fragrance or essential oil, not just ours.
- Empty the tank when you’ve finished. Don’t leave water and oil sitting in it between uses.
- Rinse and wipe the tank every few uses, as fragrance oils can leave a film.
- Check your diffuser’s instructions to make sure it is suitable for fragrance oils. If it says essential oils only, or doesn’t say, ask the maker before using it.
How do I use the 100ml bottles?
They include a blind plug to prevent leaks in transit. Either pierce the centre with a pin or biro to use it as a dropper, or remove the stopper, pour, and replace the plug.
