The scent

Vanilla & Leather Luxe opens with aromatic coriander seed and bright bergamot — a fresh, slightly spiced start that lifts the richness to come. A powdery heart of violet and rose sits alongside birch and patchouli, giving it a soft floral centre with an earthy, smoky edge that hints at the leather underneath. Vanilla, benzoin, leather, labdanum and amber settle into the base, bringing a warm, smooth, slightly resinous finish where the leather really comes through. It’s a rich, grown-up fragrance that works well across autumn and winter ranges, Father’s Day gifting, and premium unisex collections where you want something with real depth.

How much Vanilla & Leather Luxe should I use in wax melts?

Use 5–10% – that’s 5–10g of fragrance oil for every 100g of finished melts. Check the maximum your wax can hold.

Can I use Vanilla & Leather Luxe in a reed diffuser?

Yes. Use 15–25% Vanilla & Leather Luxe in a reed diffuser base such as Augeo Clean Multi. The IFRA maximum is 25%. Ready-made reed diffuser CLP labels and an SDS are in the documents above.

  • H315 Causes skin irritation.
  • H317 May cause an allergic skin reaction.
  • H319 Causes serious eye irritation.
  • H411 Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects.

Candles, wax melts and diffusers you make with it may need their own CLP label. Full details are in the Safety Data Sheet.

Is Vanilla & Leather Luxe fragrance oil flammable?

No. Its flash point is 95°C, so it isn’t classified as flammable. Like any fragrance oil, keep it away from naked flames.

Will Vanilla & Leather Luxe discolour my wax?

It may. Vanilla & Leather Luxe contains vanillin (2%), which can turn wax, soap and other bases cream to brown over time. Test before bulk pouring – see our vanillin guide.

Is there a CLP label for Vanilla & Leather Luxe?

Yes. Our free CLP label creator makes a ready-to-print label for candles and wax melts made with Vanilla & Leather Luxe, and for reed diffusers. Safety Data Sheets, IFRA certificates and label files are in the documents above.

Are your fragrance oils vegan?

Yes. All are 100% vegan with no animal-derived ingredients.

Can I use Vanilla & Leather Luxe in an electric diffuser or oil burner?

Yes.

  • Electric water diffusers (ultrasonic or humidifier style) – fill the tank with water to the line, then add 3–5 drops per 100ml of water. Start low and add more to taste.
  • Oil burners – mix 50/50 with dipropylene glycol (DPG), or add a few drops to water in the well.

Important – look after your diffuser:

  • Fragrance oils are concentrated, and some plastics used in diffuser tanks can soften, cloud or crack if oil is left sitting in them. This depends on the plastic the diffuser is made from. It happens with any concentrated fragrance or essential oil, not just ours.
  • Empty the tank when you’ve finished. Don’t leave water and oil sitting in it between uses.
  • Rinse and wipe the tank every few uses, as fragrance oils can leave a film.
  • Check your diffuser’s instructions to make sure it is suitable for fragrance oils. If it says essential oils only, or doesn’t say, ask the maker before using it.

How do I use the 100ml bottles?

They include a blind plug to prevent leaks in transit. Either pierce the centre with a pin or biro to use it as a dropper, or remove the stopper, pour, and replace the plug.
