Bekro Candle Dyes
Eco friendly non toxic dyes suitable for use in all waxes except gel wax. Mix different colour chips to produce your desired unique to you shades.
USAGE
It is recommended to use Bekro dyes at 0.2% and then adjusting to suit your needs.
At 0.2% 10g of dye will colour aprox 5kgs of wax.
Add to your wax once it is melted ensuring you stir to ensure even distribution throughout.
You can produce several colours/shades by simply increasing or decreasing the ratio of colour to wax.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Looking to make the colour a bit darker? Experiment with adding black chips to your melted wax, want a colour to be lighter try using some white.
The only limits to colours achievable is your imagination.
We recommend not over-heating dyes in wax. Excessive heat can oxidize the wax (turn it yellow) and have a deteriorating effect on dyes.
Please note actual colours may vary. It’s important to note that they may look different on a real product than what you see on your computer monitor.
This is due to the fact that every computer monitor has a different capability to display colours and that everyone sees these colours differently.
Colours achieved in final products will vary depending on the type of wax and/or fragrance used, the colours shown on the screen are an example.
The final colour of your product will be affected by the many combinations of ingredients in your product. Experimentation is key.
