Candles, wax melts and diffusers you make with it may need their own CLP label. Full details are in the Safety Data Sheet.

It may. Amber Smoke contains ethyl vanillin, which can turn wax, soap and other bases cream to brown over time. Test before bulk pouring – see our vanillin guide.
Is there a CLP label for Amber Smoke?
Yes. Our free CLP label creator makes a ready-to-print label for candles and wax melts made with Amber Smoke, and for reed diffusers. Safety Data Sheets, IFRA certificates and label files are in the documents above.
Are your fragrance oils vegan?
Yes. All are 100% vegan with no animal-derived ingredients.
Can I use Amber Smoke in an electric diffuser or oil burner?
Yes.
- Electric water diffusers (ultrasonic or humidifier style) – fill the tank with water to the line, then add 3–5 drops per 100ml of water. Start low and add more to taste.
- Oil burners – mix 50/50 with dipropylene glycol (DPG), or add a few drops to water in the well.
Important – look after your diffuser:
- Fragrance oils are concentrated, and some plastics used in diffuser tanks can soften, cloud or crack if oil is left sitting in them. This depends on the plastic the diffuser is made from. It happens with any concentrated fragrance or essential oil, not just ours.
- Empty the tank when you’ve finished. Don’t leave water and oil sitting in it between uses.
- Rinse and wipe the tank every few uses, as fragrance oils can leave a film.
- Check your diffuser’s instructions to make sure it is suitable for fragrance oils. If it says essential oils only, or doesn’t say, ask the maker before using it.
How do I use the 100ml bottles?
They include a blind plug to prevent leaks in transit. Either pierce the centre with a pin or biro to use it as a dropper, or remove the stopper, pour, and replace the plug.
