What does Baked Bread fragrance oil smell like?
Medium – warm, doughy, and lightly sweet.
How much Baked Bread fragrance oil do I need for a candle?
Use 5–10% of the candle’s total weight. For a 200g candle that’s 10–20g of Baked Bread (about 9–18ml). There is no IFRA limit for candles. The calculator above works it out for any size.
How much Baked Bread should I use in wax melts?
Use 5–10% – that’s 5–10g of fragrance oil for every 100g of finished melts. Check the maximum your wax can hold.
Can I use Baked Bread in a reed diffuser?
Yes. Use 15–25% Baked Bread in a reed diffuser base such as Augeo Clean Multi. There is no IFRA limit for reed diffusers. Ready-made reed diffuser CLP labels and an SDS are in the documents above.
Can I use Baked Bread in soap, lotion or perfume?
- Soap: yes – 3–6% (no IFRA limit)
- Body lotion: yes – 0.5–1.5% (no IFRA limit)
- Face cream: yes – 0.1–0.5% (no IFRA limit)
- Perfume: yes – 5–20% (no IFRA limit)
- Lip balm: not suitable

Is Baked Bread fragrance oil flammable?
No. Its flash point is >100°C, so it isn’t classified as flammable. Like any fragrance oil, keep it away from naked flames.
Will Baked Bread discolour my wax?
It’s unlikely. Baked Bread contains no vanillin or ethyl vanillin, the most common cause of discolouration. Always test with your own wax and dyes.
Is Baked Bread fragrance oil phthalate-free?

Can I use them in electric diffusers or oil burners?
Most can. Where suitable:
- Electric diffusers – add a few drops to the water, adjusting to taste.
- Oil burners – mix 50/50 with dipropylene glycol (DPG), or add a few drops to water in the well.
How do I use the 100ml bottles?
They include a blind plug to prevent leaks in transit. Either pierce the centre with a pin or biro to use it as a dropper, or remove the stopper, pour, and replace the plug.
