Court Favourite Fragrance Oil
Powdery floral with grapefruit, anisic notes, heliotrope, rose, musk, and amber.
The scent
Green, dewy, and grapefruit-bright at the opening — fresh and airy in a way that feels immediately elegant rather than sharp. Anisic notes, heliotrope, and rose form a softly powdery floral heart that is feminine and refined without feeling dated or heavy. Musk, amber, and a gentle powdery finish give the base a quiet, lasting presence that performs well in both wax and reed diffusers. Delicate and understated, this fragrance suits spring and summer collections beautifully, and sits naturally in Mother’s Day ranges, wedding favour collections, and any premium everyday line where a soft, sophisticated floral is the goal.

I’m not a big. Lover of musk but this is stunning. Again, another penhaligan’s fragrance no one seems to want to try, they don’t know what they are missing. Beautiful in wax melts and candles, also made a soap sponge…

Yes. All are 100% vegan with no animal-derived ingredients.
Can I use Court Favourite in an electric diffuser or oil burner?
Yes.
- Electric water diffusers (ultrasonic or humidifier style) – fill the tank with water to the line, then add 3–5 drops per 100ml of water. Start low and add more to taste.
- Oil burners – mix 50/50 with dipropylene glycol (DPG), or add a few drops to water in the well.
Important – look after your diffuser:
- Fragrance oils are concentrated, and some plastics used in diffuser tanks can soften, cloud or crack if oil is left sitting in them. This depends on the plastic the diffuser is made from. It happens with any concentrated fragrance or essential oil, not just ours.
- Empty the tank when you’ve finished. Don’t leave water and oil sitting in it between uses.
- Rinse and wipe the tank every few uses, as fragrance oils can leave a film.
- Check your diffuser’s instructions to make sure it is suitable for fragrance oils. If it says essential oils only, or doesn’t say, ask the maker before using it.
How do I use the 100ml bottles?
They include a blind plug to prevent leaks in transit. Either pierce the centre with a pin or biro to use it as a dropper, or remove the stopper, pour, and replace the plug.

I’m not a big. Lover of musk but this is stunning. Again, another penhaligan’s fragrance no one seems to want to try, they don’t know what they are missing. Beautiful in wax melts and candles, also made a soap sponge which is lovely when your in the shower, as the hot water releases the fragrance. Definitely recommend.
