How much to use, and the most IFRA allows.
Recommended amounts are starting points – always test. Incense and hanging car fresheners use the candle limit (Cat 12). Linen, fabric and car air freshener sprays use the room spray limit (Cat 10B). Bath bombs, bath salts, shower gel and body scrubs use the soap limit (Cat 9). Not recommended means the IFRA limit is too low for a good scent, not that it is banned. No fragrance oil is approved for lip products.

Use 5–10% of the candle’s total weight. For a 200g candle that’s 10–20g of Twisted Soul (about 10–20ml). There is no IFRA limit for candles. The calculator above works it out for any size.

No. Its flash point is >100°C, so it isn’t classified as flammable. Like any fragrance oil, keep it away from naked flames.
It may. Twisted Soul contains vanillin (0.01%), which can turn wax, soap and other bases cream to brown over time. Test before bulk pouring – see our vanillin guide.
